The annual Nutcracker Christmas Benefit delivers a family day of festive fun to raise funds for the Hong Kong Ballet
The Nutcracker Christmas Benefit returns, and Adrian Cheung gives diners something stellar to munch on
Hosted and organised by the Hong Kong Ballet Guild, the eighth annual Nutcracker Christmas Benefit returns on December 4 to the Island Shangri-la hotel. The benefit will, as always, be a fun-filled day with a delicious Christmas brunch, a children’s performance of The Nutcracker, silent and live auctions, ice cream and Chinese egg waffle stands, an arts and crafts station and a photo booth. The event is an important fundraiser for the Hong Kong Ballet, one of the leading classical dance companies in Asia, which has been delighting and inspiring audiences from all walks of life since it was founded in 1979. This year, Connie Wei-yang joins Anne Wang-liu and Liana Yeung to run the event as co-chairwomen of the guild’s benefit committee. hkballet.com
