SHIFTING OBJECTIVES: DESIGN FROM THE M+ COLLECTION

This two-part exhibition of 120 works dating from 1937 to the present explores the changing roles and meanings of design in the 20th and 21st centuries. The Histories section shows how design has helped shape and was shaped by the historical context, with works including a Red A-brand plastic lamp (pictured).
