All-in finesse and length, with fabulous ripe fruit and perfumed, floral and berry aromas. Full body and ultrafine tannins that caress your palate. Long and beautiful. A perfect wine. Drink it now as it’s gorgeous!

100 points Another great Saffredi after the perfect 100-point 2012. I tasted it a year ago and thought it sensational. Even better now. Dense and structured yet shows a lively, jazzlike vibe that gives it form and beauty. Needs four to five years to soften. Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. 98 points A powerful and ripe red with lots of dried berry, chocolate, meat and currant character. Full body, chewy and ripe tannins, and a tight and tannic finish. Needs a few years to soften. Shows the heat of the vintage. Better in 2018.

97 points This is a seamless wine with blackberry, black currant and liquorice. Full body, silky tannins, and a long and fresh finish. This shows such a beautiful depth and length. Drink or hold.

97 points A racy and refined wine with deep and rich fruit and ultrafine tannins. Full body, firm and silky. Goes on for minutes. Just opening now.
