SINGING FOR THEIR SUPPER
Big Glee fan? Pentatonix groupie? Then the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups a cappella dinner is for you
A dinner to be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Conrad hotel on March 20 will delight not only the palate but also the ears, with performances by some of the world’s best a cappella groups. The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups’ own a cappella ensemble, the Melody Makers, will take the stage alongside Australia’s Drums of War and the UK’S Techtonics. “A cappella choirs are energetic and electrifying, innovative and invigorating and have been called true proponents of the spirit and heart of music,” says Rosanna Wong, the federation’s executive director. Funds raised on the night will help provide services and counselling for at-risk youth.
