CELEBRATING WOMEN

Eight inspirational women championing justice in the city will be recognised at the Women of Hope Awards

Launched in 2014 by the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation under the chairmanship of Jo Soo-tang, the Women of Hope Awards started as a campaign to raise awareness of the foundation’s Cancer Fund and its efforts to support underprivileged cancer patients in the city. Three years on, the event has grown to become an occasion to honour women dedicated to philanthropy and educating the next generation on the importance of charity work and serving the community. The awards ceremony will take place during a lunch at the Aberdeen Marina Club on May 18, and will include testimonials from cancer survivors. The eight women to be honoured include Kristine Li, Annie Ho Ting and Bonnae Gokson.
