A Lange & Söhne for its sixth consecutive year partnered with the organisers of the Concorso d’elegenza for a glorious weekend bringing together literature, travel and craftsmanship in the grounds of Villa d’este on the shores of Italy’s Lake Como. The event celebrated the year 1873, when the grand hotel opened its doors and Jules Verne’s Around the World in 80 Days was published. A Lange & Söhne brought an intricately carved pocket watch from that era that displays the time in two different parts of the world. As in past years, the winner of the Best of Show category was given a unique Como Edition of the Lange 1 Time Zone watch.
