A cocktail reception and panel discussion with US actress and entrepreneur Jessica Alba as guest of honour was the first of a series of events hosted by Landmark as part of its “A Year of Something New” campaign. Richard Ekkebus, the culinary director at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Luke Grana, the founder and CEO of local fashion brand Grana, and Sharie Rosstse, the co-founder and director of global wellness company Reviv, joined Jessica on the panel, with the discussion moderated by Edipresse Media Hong Kong managing director Sean Fitzpatrick. The talk explored what it means to be sustainable, and how to lead a happy and healthy lifestyle in today’s fast-paced world. Jessica, who founded the Honest Company and Honest Beauty, had some invaluable advice: “Happiness for me is about living in the moment. I work on making small choices every day that make a big difference for a happier life and a healthier planet.” After the panel discussion, Jessica mingled with guests and posed for photos before making her way to a private dinner at Sevva hosted by Hongkong Land.
