T.DINING BEST RESTAURANTS AWARDS CEREMONY
Back for its sixth annual event, the T.dining Best Restaurants Awards ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, drawing 600 guests to honour achievements in the food and beverage industry and launch the 2019 edition of T.dining’s Best Restaurants guide. The new Top 20 Best Restaurants list was revealed during the evening and the Best of the Year awards were presented, including Chef of the Year, which went to Vicky Cheng of VEA, and the readers’ choice awards for Best New Restaurant (Fukuro) and Best New Bar (The Wise King). Guests sipped on Laurent-perrier champagne and enjoyed Hong Kong-focused canapés, including sustainable fish balls and barbecued pork burgers, courtesy of the hotel. The new guide is packed with more than 220 updated restaurant and bar reviews, along with features on gastronomy in Hong Kong, across Asia and around the world.
