THE 2018 Shanghai Urban Simple Life festival will be held from October 1 to 2 at Camp 3399. The brand new Simple Days Park will also be open to public from October 3 to 7.

Initiated by Taiwan pop musician Jonathan Lee, the festival gathers cultural celebrities to interact with audience and exchange ideas. It also features a creative bazaar and theater performances.

Since 2014, the festival has attracted more than 200,000 visitors. This year’s festival will also travel to the cities of Chengdu, Wuhan and Xiamen to display contemporary arts, creative ideas and lifestyles.

According to Lee, there are many young talented people who are creating fascinating works in music and art. The festival aims to promote “simple life” ideas and values to more people in the country.

This year’s Shanghai Urban Simple Life will feature performances from Hong Kong pop singers Sammi Cheng and Yoyo Sham, mainland singer Zhao Lei and the Rainbow Chamber Singers.

Simple Days Park will host a fantasy party paying tribute to youth. A series of interactive events and exhibitions will be held covering music, food, books and fashion.
