Administrative affairs made more efficient

Jiading is speeding integration of its administrative affairs network to make the process more efficient with individualized and spontaneous services.
It is part of a city campaign to carry out overall reform of administrative items.
According to requirements, the time needed for relevant approvals as well as materials needed will be cut in half on average.
The procedures of 100 affairs will be simplified while 100 more personal items can be handled at any offices of the authority in the city.
“Jiading aims to do better and cut down the time by 70 percent,” said Ji Anlong, an official at the district’s approvals department.
It has restructured different departments to sort out steps to be either cancelled or combined, with the purpose of making them time-efficient.
Some affairs can be concluded on the spot.
The suburban district’s new administrative service center is taking shape.
By then, clear lists concerning different lines of business, including market supervision, ecological environment and fire control, will be presented with the purpose that only the necessary procedures stay while people can come for the fewest times to get things done.
The center will be able to process 413 items engaged with 28 departments.
Previous efforts have turned out to be successful.
An integrated administrative service station has been in place since early August on Taxin Road. The station has approvals staff from market, tax, public security and digital departments to downsize the process.
Materials that cannot be reviewed at the site will be sent to relevant departments and feedback will be given as soon as possible.
Similar “mobile offices” have been set up in some communities as well, providing a number of personal affairs services such as house rental filing, social security cards and unemployment compensation.
The district will also take further steps to clear channels by promoting the database of electronic ID, public payment, logistics and other licenses.
