The 5G Innovative Application Development Summit was held last month at the second Scientific Technology Fair for the Yangtze River Delta in Jiading to promote innovative application and industrial cluster agglomeration of the 5G industry.
More than 300 experts and representatives took part. Shen Huadi, deputy director of Jiading, said the district is building a high-quality 5G network in an all-round way based on the principles of scientific planning, innovation-driven and ecological optimization.
The district is promoting construction of typical 5G application scenarios and enhancing the collaborative innovation ability of the industrial chain, Shen said.
Jiading will make efforts to complete the construction of 1,600 5G base stations in the first half of next year. The district has launched the world’s first 5G Intelligent Public Transport project with the 5G Automotive Association as a major achievement in the field of 5G+ Intelligent Connected Vehicle Testing.
In the future, Jiading will further promote 5G application, develop the industrial ecology of cooperative innovation, optimize the development environment and better integrate into the overall development planning of the 5G industry in the Yangtze River Delta.
The Jiading 5G Innovative Application and Cooperative Development Center was established at the meeting.
On the same day, China Electronics Technology Corporation Software Service Ltd released a new service system for the metropolitan area IoT network and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Unicom’s Shanghai branch.
