The shift in Helena’s list of priorities also included time spent on skincare. “Before I was a mother, I went to facials twice a week. I had more time for professionals to work on my skin and make sure it is at its peak condition,” says Helena. “Since I had my girls, I go about once a month, so I have to make sure that my daily routine at home is good enough to keep my skin in good shape!”

“How to keep a good balance between life and work is the ultimate question for all women,” says Leigh. “You want to do everything well but you can’t possibly do that so you have to pick and choose.”
Fortunately, Leigh’s work is all project based, enabling her to better control her schedule and time spent away from family. One of her beloved projects every year is the Hong Kong Ballet’s annual Nutcracker Family Benefit, held this year at the Island Shangri-la, Hong Kong.
“The whole purpose of the Benefit is to promote the love of dance to children,” says Leigh. “We’ve been doing it for six years and it’s a nice family event. Children get to perform the Nutcracker routine with the Hong Kong Ballet’s dancers and it is a great opportunity for them.”
Setting a good example for her kids is what motivates Leigh to seek new challenges. “You want to be a role model for your daughters especially and I think it is important for women to have something of their own, whether it be work or charitable causes.”
