SEPTEMBER 30 TO OCTOBER 3 Asia’s leading fine art fair, Fine Art Asia, gathers not just museum-quality fine art, but also jewellery, design, photograph­y, timepieces, antique silver and contempora­ry art from both the West and Asia, all presented by renowned galleries and dealers. Highlights this year include a trio of 18K gold bracelet watches from Omega’s 1969 About Time collection by Andrew Grima, and a yellow diamond necklace and earrings from Boghossian’s Les Merveilles Reverso collection. SEPTEMBER 6 TO NOVEMBER 11 Chinese multimedia artist Wang Gongxin’s first Hong Kong show offers essential insights into his artistic developmen­t. The focus is the period immediatel­y preceding Wang’s first use of videos and projection­s in 1996, with most of the 10 exhibited pieces dating between 1993 and 1996. CRUEL WORLD BEN BROWN FINE ARTS

SEPTEMBER 21 TO NOVEMBER 9 South Korean artist Hyon Gyon debuts in Hong Kong with a compelling show of paintings and sculptures. The artist examines the notions of national identity, pop culture and sexual politics, incorporat­ing materials such as melted fabric, gold leaf, cement, spray paint, hair and found objects. SEPTEMBER 15-OCTOBER 28 For his first solo show in Asia, Italian artist Gianfranco Baruchello presents a selection of works alongside pieces by long-term friend and mentor Marcel Duchamp. An iconic name in Italy’s contempora­ry art scene, Baruchello has worked in different media for more than four decades.
