Symbolic of a world where no two days are the same, and where anything and everything is possible, the iconic turning rings of Piaget’s Possession line are reimagined in an alluring collection of women’s watches incorporating gold, diamonds and sleek new variations in steel.
The collection comes with rainbow-coloured ornamental stone dials, and a dazzling watch set on a precious cuff of woven gold chains. Customised with coloured interchangeable straps or even matching gold Possession bangles, your watch becomes your most glamorous accessory and allows women with busy lives to express themselves differently every day.
While each watch can be styled in numerous ways, they are all inspired by the same concept—expressing the Sunny Side of Life and celebrating life’s most radiant moments. The watches come in sky blue, emerald green, pill-box red and deep purple, or in gold or white gold with a black leather strap.
To truly understand the collection, we need to go back to Piaget’s original, groundbreaking ring design. In pairing a turning ring with a second rotating ring, the watchmakerjeweller created a playful and sensorial experience that women fell in love with.
This concept has been extended to the watch design, with, for example, a rotating pink-gold bezel set generously with diamonds turning around a red-gold band, the constant movement of the ring around the dial evoking the shifting sands of time.
The silvery dial of the watch is enhanced with diamond dots indicating the hours, while a vibrant alligator strap creates a bold contrast with the watch face. The paving of the bezel with diamonds, and the single line or diamonds set around the ring give the watch its luminous intensity.
These wonderful timepieces are twinned with a Piaget Possession jewellery line that include brightly coloured bracelets, pendants and necklaces that play on the dazzling contrast between pink gold and green malachite, red carnelian, bright turquoise, intense black onyx or deep blue lapis lazuli.
The pendant collection uses the same concept of contrasting bright stones with pink gold to create a sense of happiness. A brightly coloured ornamental stone is encircled by a Possession gold ring, turning freely on itself. Along the chain, a single diamond adds some razzle dazzle.
Another pendant also plays on the Possession ring motif, featuring a perfect sphere that pairs pink gold with brilliant diamonds in a snow setting on one hemisphere and with the natural vibrant colour of the stone on the other. The palm chain can be worn as a sautoir in two different lengths or as a wrap around the neck, playing to this season’s trend for chokers.
