As a fine arts graduate from London’s Central Saint Martins, Stephnie Shek is no stranger to artefacts pleasing to the eye. With such a background coupled with her love for travel, Rome is an ideal destination for her next trip. “Italy has been on my travel bucket list for some time, but I’m travelling a lot for weddings at the moment, so I haven’t had a chance to visit yet,” she says. “Although, by stepping into the Bulgari flagship store and experiencing the opulence, I can imagine what it might be like.”
Given the subject of her studies, it was clear Stephnie’s career would take an artistic course. When she returned to Hong Kong in 2014, she channelled her talent into launching her nail salon, Eightyeight on Wellington Street in Central, and it has gone from strength to strength since.
