OVER FIVE YEARS IN CUBAN ECONOMY
CASTROL CUBA, S.A. BOASTS OF ITS 26-YEAR-LONG HISTORY, DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE NATIONAL MARKET AND INDUSTRY, SPECIFICALLY IN TERMS OF THE SUPPLY OF LUBRICANTS IN SUCH KEY ECONOMY SECTORS AS MINING, TOURISM, TRANSPORT (TRANSPORTATION AND PASSENGERS), CONSTRUCTION, MARITIME, AMONG OTHER SERVICES.
The entity, which was born back in 1992 out of the partnership between Castrol and Unión Nacional CUPET, got its license renewed in June 2017 so its operations on the largest Caribbean island have been extended for the next 10 years. Engineer Reinaldo Blanco, general manager of Castrol Cuba, S.A, told Excelencias del Motor that both parties are satisfied with their achievements over the past five years and new challenges are already on the table, including the presence in the investment process that is being developed by the country, which requires reliable
lubricants for new technological equipment.
