‘Caught red-handed’

A GAZİMAĞUSA homeowner caught a man red-handed while he was trying to break into her house with a screwdriver, the town’s district court was told.

Fatma Gönül Öğmen called police after spotting Okan Acar at about midnight last Friday.

Acar was released on conditional bail on Monday.
