I’m a fan of this shop!

WE OFTEN hear of shops and companies here offering poor after care service but Stormax is not one of them.

With the onset of the warm weather a few weeks back I got my Stilevs floor standing fan out, but within a day it just stopped working, there was power to it but that was it. I called into Stormax to buy another one from the same manufacturer as I’d had it a few years and it was a great strong fan with remote control, yes I’m a bit lazy like that!

While I was there I mentioned to the lady that I already had one but that it had stopped working, she reminded me that there was a three year guarantee on it, and asked when did I buy it. I couldn’t remember but thought it was longer than that. Who remembers things like that? I bought the new one and was quite happy that I would be cool again that evening.

A few days later, just out of curiosity, I looked for the guarantee for the first fan and located it quite quickly which surprised me; I’m not the greatest at keeping such paperwork. Even more of a surprise was that there was three months left on it.

I took the fan and the paperwork to Stormax thinking they may not honour it, and I would have lost nothing by asking, but they were very helpful and said no problem at all with repairing it. About a week later they telephoned me to say it was ready for collection. So now I have two great fans to keep me cool this summer, but what service, you have to give credit where it’s due!
