Premium wine distributors Spectus will be hosting a series of events next month to welcome Baron de Rothschild (Lafite) Chief Winemaker Diane Flamand. The presentations with tutored tastings will be held at the Spectus wine shop in Nicosia on Wednesday, February 11 (10am-12, 7-9pm), and at the Four Seasons hotel in Limassol on Thursday, February 12 (10am-12, 7-9pm). This will be followed by a dinner at the Four Seasons, on the same evening.

The wines to be presented include the “Legende” Collection – Bordeaux (white and red), “Domaine D’aussieres” Corbieres (white and red), “Vina Los Vascos” – Chile (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon), “Bodega Caro” – Mendoza, Argentina (Caro Red, Aruma Red and Amancaya Red).

The wines at the Winemaker Dinner include “Legende”, Bordeaux, White; “Los Vascos”, Sauvignon Blanc, Chile; Chateau Duhart-Milon, Pauillac, Bordeaux; “Amancaya”, Mendoza, Argentina; Chateau Rieussec, Sauternes, 1er Grand Cru Classe, Bordeaux; and, the unique opportunity to taste the Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Pauillac, Premier Grand Cru Classe, Bordeaux, that retails for 1,200 euros.

Spectus is offering tickets at the presentation events at 30 euros for students and 45 for the general public, while dinner tickets are going for 190 euros or a combined 200 euros for both the presentation and dinner.
