Katerina Sweets hires new distributor

Katerina Home Made Sweets Ltd., maker of traditional sweets and jams, as well as the new stevia variants, has signed a distribution agreement with KEAN, following a thorough research and evaluation of current market trends and the business environment in Cyprus.

The announcement said that the Katerina brand has the potential to grow at home and abroad through a larger distribution network with the KEAN Group, that includes the famous local soft drinks and juices, as well as new subsidiaries such as KEAN Food Link Ltd. and KFL Logisitics Ltd. The distribution range now includes a portfolio of 76 products. Charis Kourtellas, head of the Commercial Department of KEAN, said: “As a Group we are very excited for this new collaboration as we appreciate the high quality and authenticity of the Katerina products and believe in the potential of the brand. We are confident that the commercial capabilities of KEAN Group will enable the brand to further develop, and help bring an indulging part of the Cyprus tradition to the homes of modern Cypriot consumers.”
