The annual wine festival will also see some changes this year with the traditional ‘vrakaman’, a giant statue of a man clad in the Cypriot folk attire, meeting the modern era, as he is depicted in the posters taking a selfie.
During the wine festival, men in the traditional attire will walk around the garden and take selfies with visitors who are expected to break a new record due to the increased tourist arrivals on the island.
Visitors can taste wines offered for free by the local wineries, taste traditional dishes, and be entertained by the various music and dance events.
