Attijariwafa Bank Egypt becomes official sponsor of first Egyptian-Moroccan Business Association
Attijariwafa Bank Egypt sponsored the establishment ceremony of the Egyptian-Moroccan Business Association on 7 March 2018, which was held on the sidelines of a seminar entitled “Prospects for economic and cultural cooperation between Egypt and Morocco”.The seminar was attended by Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and a group of members of the Egyptian-Moroccan Business Association, headed by Mohamed Adel Hosny, chairperson of the board of directors of the association, and members of the executive committee of the bank, as well as a group of senior businesspersons from Egypt.
Abderrafie Elhachimi, retail and business banking director, gave a speech during the seminar in which he stressed that Attijariwafa Group chose to invest in Egypt not only in line with its ambitious expansion strategy, but also for its desire to leave a clear impression on the promising Egyptian economy by strengthening the trade exchange and economic relations between Egypt and the Kingdom of Morocco on the one hand, and between Egypt and the other countries in which the group is present on the other, especially African countries, to which the Egyptian government gives special importance.
He presented a documentary film about the fifth International Forum for African Development, hosted annually by Attijariwafa Group in Casablanca. The forum is a reference platform for the business community and political decision-makers in Africa, and a real interactive channel for the exchange of views and interaction among investors to create investment opportunities in Africa.
