Trend Twins booked for Mpumalanga show
TALENTED local DJ duo, Trend Twins, are set to hoist the Eswatini’s flag high in Mpumalanga with a captivating performance.
The duo, comprised of the dynamic duo Nkosenhle Dlamini and Nosimilo Dlamini, is all set to headline the upcoming ‘Tag Along Saturday’ show on May 25, 2024, starting from 5 pm at Es’bayeni Shisanyama, in Mpumalanga.
Joining an impressive lineup of artists including Wizzy N, Sunsoul, Nicant, Mbuzinian Child, Arteta, and El Musiq, Trend Twins are ready to showcase their unique blend of Afro House, Gqom music, and Dance music that has been taking the music scene by storm.
In an exclusive interview with Culolam, their talent manager, it was revealed that Trend Twins have been on a winning streak with international bookings, making their performance in South Africa a homecoming of sorts.
“For us, every gig is an opportunity to make a lasting impression, and we are committed to delivering a performance that will leave a lasting impact. This show is no exception . It is a normal booking for us,” said Dlamini.
Dlamini said Trend Twins will give out their utmost best rendition. “When preparing for any booking, be it big or small, we make sure that we leave a mark at that certain gig,” he said. He further promised emaSwati well representation on the international gig. “We will continue flying the Eswatini flag high and be good arts ambassadors of the industry,” he added.
The dynamic duo, Trend Twins, born Nkosenhle Dlamini and Nosimilo Dlamini, aged 25 and 29 respectively, have been making waves in the Afro House scene. What started as a dance group quickly evolved into a formidable DJ duo, drawing inspiration from industry heavyweights such as Shimza, Cairo, and Da Capo.
