Activations coming, Enjabulweni MTB first stop — Big Game Parks

Better get your mountain bike up and ready for the 19th edition of the Imvelo MTB Classic at Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary on June 8. Nedbank has already presented Big Game Parks, the event hosts with an improved sponsorship package of E300 000. It was E250 000 in the previous edition.
Ahead of the Imvelo MTB Classic, Big Game Parks has announced they will be all out sensitize emaSwati about the race and the joy it brings as it takes place in a home of wild animals.
“We’ll be doing activations, and our first stop is at Enjabulweni, where they will be having their MTB race on May 11,” Big Game Parks Marketing and Sales Manager Xolani Gama.
She was speaking at the Nedbank Eswatini Headquarters in Mbabane on Friday afternoon during the Imvelo MTB Classic 2024 sponsorship presentation. Her superior at Big Game Parks, Yolanda Lauenstein, who is the Operations Manager and Events Sponsorship Coordinator also reiterated her words and added that they were grateful to Nedbank for the increased package as it took quite a lot to ensure the success of the event at the game park.
She was also thankful to all their partners who worked tirelessly to keep everyone and the animals safe during the race.
Meanwhile, the Enjabulweni MTB Race has four distances to compete in, and these are the 50km, 35km, 10km, and 5km plus a chicken egg run for children under eight years old. The 50km will resume at 7am before the 35km at 8am and then the 10km and 5km at 8:30am and 8:45am. The chicken egg run will start at 9am, and each child is set to part with E50.
The 50km race is E180 for early birds, E200 normal price, E130 for the 35km early birds and E150 normal price, 10km is E100 for under-15 years old and seniors while it will be E80 for the 5km designed for children under five years.
