TO impact social and environmental change, the United Nations (UN) Eswatini has injected E325,000 into the heart of the MTN Bushfire Bring Your Fire Zone.

The sponsorship, presented during a momentous ceremony at House On Fire on May 7, 2024, marks a significant milestone in the two-year partnership between MTN Bushfire and the UN.

The launch of the UN MTN Bushfire Bring Your Fire Zone not only unveiled the generous contribution but also shed light on the collaborative projects that will drive collective action towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the festival’s rallying cry for positive change, Bring Your Fire, the partnership aims to mobilize a diverse array of voices and talents in the pursuit of a more sustainable and equitable future.

At the core of the UN Bring Your Fire Zone lies a vibrant space dedicated to creative advocacy, where artists, activists, and change-makers converge to amplify awareness of the SDGs. With the UN as the official title sponsor, the Zone serves as a dynamic platform for dialogue, performance, and interactive engagement, fostering discussions on pressing global issues that shape our world.

Through a diverse range of themes and focuses, participants are invited to join the conversation, lend their voices, and contribute to a shared vision of a more sustainable and inclusive world. As the festival draws near, the spirit of #BRINGYOURFIRE burns brighter than ever within the UN Bring Your Fire Zone, igniting a flame of hope and possibility for positive social and environmental change.
