Sir,

God did not have to let us live to see this day, but He has. His only Son did not have to die so that we may live forever but He did.

The Word of God speaks of another day; a great day of God. A day in which ‘He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord will wipe away tears from all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall he take away from all the earth; for the Lord hath spoken it’.

This will be the day for those who have through Christ believed God, to say ‘look, this is our God, the one we waited for’!

Yes, we are waiting. In this world we are bombarded, verbally and physically, but we wait; and why do we wait? Because God has spoken; Isaiah has said ‘for the Lord has spoken it’. Our day is coming!

There is a difference between things said by God and things said by man; God speaks as God and man speaks as man.

When God says there will be a day, then there will be a day. For He has also said; “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing whereto I sent it,” Isaiah 55:11.

Reader, all that remains is for you and I to prepare ourselves for that day. What God has spoken will surely come to pass.

Prophet Amos once told the people of Israel to prepare to meet their God. He said; ‘Prepare to meet your God, O Israel!’

The words of Jesus Christ to Nicodemus are decisive: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

He added; “Marvel not that I said unto thee ,Ye must be born again,” John 14:5,7. You must, therefore, be born again.

If you know that you are not born again, surrender your life to Jesus and visit the nearest church preaching salvation in Jesus Christ and seek guidance. And may our good God keep and guide you until that great and awesome day!

David
