Sihlangu leave today for COSAFA Cup

MBABANE – The national team Sihlangu will leave today for the 2022 Hollywoodb­ets COSAFA Cup.

This year’s edition, which has a new sponsor in Hollywoodb­ets, returns to the coastal city of Durban after it was last staged there in 2019. The previous edition was held at the Nelson Mandela Bay.

The Dominic Kunene-led side is in Group B with Lesotho, Malawi and Mauritius and they will begin their campaign on Wednesday against ‘Club M’, as Mauritius are fondly known in football circles.

He was echoed by his assissaid they would give an update on the players’ movement this week.

It is worth noting that he excluded the two internatio­nal players in South Africa TS Galaxy winger Justice ‘Figa’ Figuareido and top Angolan outfit Sagrada Esperanca’s Bonginkhos­i ‘Manyovu’ Dlamini.
