MBABANE – Waffles representi­ng Africa!

The Pearls of South Africa are debuting in the Netherland­s on Friday, kicking off with Amapiano sessions part two, which will feature Uncle Waffles. Under the theme ‘The taste of Africa’, the line-up will feature South African acts namely; TxC, Henry ; and MC Gary Black, just to name a few. More performers yet to be announced.

The event is organised by Blends and BonBon Entertainm­ent, it sold out within seconds. Pre-sale tickets cost E265.79 when converted to Lilangeni. The sounds offered on the night will be Afro house, Urban, Hip hop and the genre of the night will be Amapiano.

Personalit­y

Born Lungelihle Zwane in 2000, Uncle Waffles is a young female DJ from Mbabane, but now based in South Africa. She also dabbles inTV hosting, social media personalit­y, and producing. In her short career in the limelight, Uncle Waffles has been able to put her stamp on the industry, and along with attracting a huge fan base, Uncle Waffles has also gained recognitio­n from some of the biggest names in the industry including Canadian-born rapper Drake, who follows her on Instagram.
