BK Lodge rebranded

MBABANE – Scores of people experience­d luxurious treatment over the weekend.

This was during the official grand opening of BK Lodge on Friday. The event had special performanc­es from local acts that were amped up for their performanc­es.

The place was fully packed with people, some were seen jumping up and down with happiness.

A ribbon officially confirming the rebranded BK Lodge was cut, and the attendees welcomed the newly revamped place.

BK Lodge’s new look and revamped state had everyone raving about it. They praised the owners for giving it a new luxurious look and a glam feel.

From decor, furnishing­s and food, the place had become a little heaven for regulars there.

“This is so nice, I’m a regular here and I think this new look is amazing,” said Sethu Dlamini.

Another said the lodge had become the place to be and that it made their customers feel at home.

“This has become a second home, the place is picking up even with hosting events there,” said Mmeli Masilela.

Meanwhile the Bishops handled the decks and had everyone dancing up a storm. Known for their chilled house music compilatio­n the duo did not disappoint with their set.

Welcomed

The transition from House music to trendy Amapiano and trap music was fully welcomed by the people in attendance. This happened when DJ Tap took over the stage.

His versatile mixes had everyone wanting more, he would sometimes leave the booth and dance for the crowd.

Handling the decks until midnight was also BK’s resident DJ AyaCity. The Amapiano DJ handled his crowd well. He started off playing smooth sounds and then went fully in by blasting popular Amapiano sounds.

Other acts on the day included Matamza, 1D, Culolami and Genes of the Vibes. All these acts brought the house down with their differentl­y crafted playlists.
