MBABANE – Another win for Eswatini as the CFO of Letshego Eswatini, Phindile Ndlandla, has been shortlisted for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) inaugural Africa CFO Awards 2022.
Ndlandla was nominated and shortlisted from more than 50 chartered accountants in Africa.
She has worked for Letshego for about five years and is a member of ACCA and Eswatini Institute of Accountants.
She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Eswatini (UNESWA).
Experience
She further holds Board experience as she is also the current Secretary of the Letshego Headquarters Financial Services Board of Directors.
Speaking to this publication yesterday, Ndlandla said she was excited to have been nominated and shortlisted for the ACCA awards.
She said she was already considering herself a winner and the fact that she had been shortlisted was imperative to her career.
The young CFO added that the recognition would assist her advance her career and avail new opportunities to her.
“I am considering myself a winner. The fact that I have been shortlisted means a lot to me and my career and this will open new doors for me,” she said.
Ndlandla added that such recognition was important to any professional as it set them apart.
When asked what being shortlisted meant to her, the CFO said this would mean contribution towards the growth of the company.
Digitalisation
She said digitalisation continued to grow, thus equipping yourself with the constant global changes was imperative as she was currently undertaking a course in leadership dvelopment at Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).
