MBABANE - Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture(ENCAC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stanley Dlamini said they would love to be engaged or see the presentati­on of the new hub.

Dlamini when speaking on the new hub, said it was an opportunit­y for artists in the country but the developer would have to go engage them.

“We would love to be engaged or see a presentati­on of the new hub and there after check copyrights issues and decide whether to support.

“The majority of our artists are now online and arts magazines are online to profile and market local arts.

“We also have a series of capacity building workshops and cultural exchange programmes, we had them last year we will have them again this year,” he said.

On another, note Eswatini Arts and Music Associatio­n (SWAMA) President Lutfo Dlamini said this was a good concept that seeks to help artist in the country monetise their craft.

He said even though he had not seen the concept, from what he has heard he could fully vouch for it. Dlamini said it was time the youth took part in things that sought to help them.

“This is an amazing concept and would love to hear more about it, we advocate for anything that seeks to grow the arts and entertainm­ent industry in the country,” he said.

Another entertainm­ent magnet who said he was fully behind the hub, was Swazi Boy Director Shadow Zwane.

He said him and his artist swere for the concept and platform.

“It is always a good thing to have a platform for artists and creatives.

As an events management company we are fully behind it,” he said.
