These were the words of Army Commander Hulumende Mashikilis­ane Fakudze at Nokwane Army Headquarte­rs yesterday, when he bid farewell to Young Buffaloes ladies before their departure to Durban, South Africa, where they will be competing in the Hollywoodb­ets 2022 Council of Southern Africa Football Associatio­ns (COSAFA) Women’s Champions League CAF Qualifiers. The domestic league champions will debut in the COSAFA Women’s Champions League where they hope to shoot for qualificat­ion to the continenta­l finals. They will face their Group B opponents Zambia’s army team Green Buffaloes on Sunday at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium. Action gets underway at noon.

Ahead of their trip, the army commander urged the team to hoist the Kingdom of Eswatini’s flag through excellence and upholding good morals, sportsmans­hip and behaviour. The team was commended for their exceptiona­l domestic league record, having celebrated a clean sheet with a remarkable 221 goals. The commander further applauded the team’s management for the dedication, love and support they rendered to the team.
