The reflection that defines you

( look at the world with different eyes, different intentions and totally have different perspectives of it. Of course, what our different eyes see is what will interpret everything in the world for us.

Now, how do we get to understand things that happen within and with out us? And literally how do we get to make sense of our emotions, our dreams, goals and aspirations? Be cause we have totally different ways of interpreting what we see, what we get, and how we see what we see and get what we get. Sometimes I don’t seem to make sense, but I will break it down just now.

For us to understand our lives, we need to be sure of the states of three things; the heart, the mind and the universe. And right now I am very glad that you are asking the how and why question because, that is exactly what I want to unpack. We cannot just live, wake up, eat, sleep and the cycle goes and expect everything to make sense when we do not figure out these three.

First of all, the heart! Well, I want to call it the holding cell. That keeps us locked in, caught up in so many things. It has the power to keep our emotions intact, and make us assume things based on how we feel about them.

The heart surrenders us into a world attached to so many emotions, one in which makes sense through feelings, but the biggest question we constantly have is whether these emotions will ever get us anywhere.

I asked a closed friend that what the biggest question he ever asks his heart is. And he said to me, “Will it ever take me to fifty …” “Is it ever going to love and trust somebody?” what 6 mirrors reflect right? I didn’t 2 I looked at myself in the mirror a day before yesterday, and I saw my true reflection want to see through my reflection that day but to talk to my very own innermost. I had something to tell my duplicate, every morning I always have a thing to share maybe it is my pain, my achievement but I always have something to share. I feel like the mirror understands my pain more than anyone and is willing to smile for my excellence. Sometimes it’s not safe to share your sentiments with others.

Families have their ups and downs which isn’t always easy to deal with. It is a pity that blood is not always thicker than water but another con cept and slowly we’re losing faith in family. The relatives whom we look up to tend to not be the role models we imagined them to be_ it’s all just a disappointment! You know when you meet strangers, they help you with your tender and then you start paying for every family gathering, that’s the same day you’ll realise that everyone is present except strangers the ones

Questions of the heart wonder if their emotions ever make sense, and if following them will ever lead them to their desires. When directed to the heart , they always trigger emotions that will rule our lives because let us face it , our friends and those we share most of our lives with did not just come in anyhow but , they were allowed by the heart .

SHARED

Does love stick and sting this loud, and if it clings, how possible is it to stay on longer and live to breathe for those its’ shared with. And what about all the broken promises that created silence, which destroy the heart and makes us lose trust and hope.

And what if we assume that our hearts will heal someday and they never get over the pain , and are never able to mean all the broken pieces ., and if we keep staying there in the silence and never find words to say even after the storm of the heart break has passed . I mean what if we who made you successful. The same family loses hope in us whenever we make mistakes or either they judge our deeds. Then how can I share my sentiments with such people?

BONDAGE

Understand that you’re not alone your reflection is with you all the way and if you’ve got something you want to share with anyone, that’s your best friend. As for me, I love my fam ily, they’re my motivation, their love, my perseverance! Through thick and thin they’ve been there for me but I believe that it is not everything I’ve got to share with them because they won’t understand.

My reflection has never judged me no matter what. If I smile, it smiles back, if I’m sad, it’s sad too_ that’s how deep the bondage is. I guess it can’t be understood by someone else. I take it as an inspiration as what I perceive for myself is what I get. A mirror shows the real you and satis faction.

I’m satisfied with what I see when I look in a mirror. You’re who you’re and no one’s going to change that_ always inform your inner being that you’ll never allow a passerby to in flict change in your life. If you let anyone dictate your life you’ll never reach anywhere not even your desti nation but the only person who dic tates lives is God, not even the gov ernment itself. are never able to burry all the mo ments of brokenness that our ‘almost love’ brought upon our lives?

It is question after question in our minds as well.

We ask if we will ever make peace with all the disappointments we have endured. Well, every day, we won der if there will ever be a time where we have fought and won the battles of confusion that we are constantly locked in. If we will be able to work on convincing our heart to control our emotions, which always make us lack understanding and caution of the things that bite us every time we allow them in.

It is a sequence of questions that ask whether or not our hopes, dreams and goals will ever be met and fulfilled.

In our minds, it is always a battle of the unknown. Because, we have the biggest fear of ‘what if we don’t make it through’. Our minds want to be sure that we will get to where we hope to get and achieve what we planned to. But whenever life tells us otherwise,

A lot of homo sapiens turn to drugs because they listened to people who were whispering in their ears. Some turned to being prostitutes because they let the storm to shift them in their position.

No matter the kind of hunger, don’t let it be the downfall of your future. Regrets are there and a mel ancholic truth is that it is either far ahead or behind. Your actions will catch up with you in a way. Regret ting is not an easy way as it brings devastation. So before you can re we get lost and drown in disappoint ment because nobody want to see their dreams being held up or delayed. It is a natural thing, which we are proud of the little difference we make as a step towards the right direction. But when we seem to be going in circles or not even moving at all, that rips us apart.

But also, we ask the universe some questions. Yes, some of us appreci ate that the universe welcomed them, while others wish it would have dis carded them.

QUESTIONS

Each one of us has questions to ask this world, because each day tells us that we are being tasked and tried se verely. The biggest concern we have is of the guest that turns up uninvited … death! We are scared of how and when it will come, we just wonder if by that time we would accomplished all we wish. Would we have said all we ever wanted to say, have shared even our lives with those want to share them with. Sadly, we never have the an swer to these questions. gret it, do what’s best for you. The future we always dream about is dazzling, and worth imagination but it won’t be if you play with it. I’ve been following the most famous soapie that is enjoyed by most South Africans ‘Uzalo’.

I’ve developed a hatred for it be cause of this character ‘ Njeza’ who’s abusing an innocent lady ‘Nosipho’ but he claims that he loves her dearly.

That is no love but brutality. Now, Nosipho is always in fear and I’m just imagining the pain of living your

It is not every question that will have an answer. Some questions will never be answered. Just like it is not every time that we will get what we want, life will not answer all our questions. Why are we given a chance to live everyday, we do not know, because we know that we are not fully deserving of the chances but we are granted them because they have to mean something to us .

Instead of finding answers to the so may endless questions, we should rather appreciate the chances to life that we have, and use them to deliver as per our dreams’ requests, because each chance is an opportunity to work on us, sharpen our goals and make our dreams work . It is not time to pity ourselves for the things we cannot do, but allow the knowledge of those we cannot do to push us further, and make us fight for these things that we can do.

We do not need to fall in love if the heart is not yet open to it, and we must not force trust if it denies it the chance.

And we should not give up just because some people have made it the worst experience in our lives, we just need to appreciate that whatever we aspire to be, we will be in due time. Pray, prayer never fails, faith and hope will always get you by, so a friend of mine said. And he mentioned the fact that you don’t pray and sit, but you pray and work towards it.

Biggest lesson I got from someone special is that, if you have a dream, a goal, take your eyes and focus on it. For you to never get distracted , put your eyes on the goal , while do ing that , there will be things happen ing around you , but where your eyes will be , will be your focus , and the others you will not see , and they will not be able to distract you .

Instead of asking the millions of questions about so many things, let us focus on the one thing, and work towards achieving it every day, any thing else is not worth our attention because we know where our focus is.

Questions will always be there, but it is our duty to never let them con trol us.

It’s all clear that she’ll never trust anyone. She can’t be exten sively ecstatic to do something that makes her happy because of being scared of his abusive boyfriend.

ROOTS

He’s dictating her life now and it’s a pity she has let him do so from the on set. She should’ve left him the minute he first raised his hand on her but she didn’t because of mis understanding love. You can never be happy if you let people lead you astray. Know your roots, know what you want, and achieve everything you said you’ll when you started the race. You once told yourself that one day you’ll live in a mansion house_ a wonderful dream that is! But what is it that you’ve done to reach that dream or you’re relaxing waiting for a miracle?

Take charge of your life, no one will. Smelling success is the most ravishing scent; so don’t laze around. I’m saying this because I’m also a human and being lazy is there but it’s up to you to not let it take control of your life. Successful people can share it with you that they’ve worked hard enough to reach where they’re, taken opportunities and chances_ so they’ve made it! Keep in mind that you’re destined for an amazing life style. Your reflection, your best friend!
