Tbiggest question that confronts most of us now, is what do we do? I feel that somewhat most of us are never fully prepared for change, it’s hard. Quite honestly, most people would rather things remained the way they were. It is an illusion that brings comfort. Wait…nobody sits in the corner and plans to bring change in your society, in your family or in your life as an individual. In your moments of anger and despair, please stop blaming individuals for the change that you are experiencing. Change is a natural phenomenal designed by God to bring a knowledge of his power and love to every generation.

History has proven that every generation will experience a very defining transformation or adjustment. However, nobody wants to fully embrace a new thing, no matter how beautifully wrapped it is. The bottom line is that, its change and we despise it. It is better for us to live in an illusion of how things used to be than to embrace a new thing. It seems we are never fully equipped for change, but it is the one thing that causes us to question God and his existence. This is because change will undermine your intellect, your academic influence, and it will even cause you to question your anointing. Anointing and grace are only powerful when properly aligned with God’s will and his

contest or competitive situation that is likened to a traditional beauty contest, especially in involving judgments made on the basis of physical attractiveness or popular appeal. Pageants are a platform for showcasing women’s empowerment, diversity, intelligence, and leadership. Women who take part in pageants have utilised the platform, and their own platforms, to empower other women, others have also used pageants as a way to advance their careers. I thought it might be interesting with all the pageants kicking off to get some advice for the girls that have joined and those that wish to join. I figured the best person to tell me would be a beauty queen herself. This lady asked to remain anonymous, but this is what she had to say. “As a retired pageant queen, I can attest that there are certain beauty-related tricks of the trade. In addition to the rigorous fitness plans, cleanses, and diets, there are a handful of underground beauty pageant tips and secrets that only former queens can tell you.

As a newbie, I had no idea what I was getting into, and I remember

Kingdom in that season. We can never transition without God.

As a result, when change shows up, we are sort of thrown into disarray and are never able to respond to it effectually. Others chose to pretend it’s not happening, others believe so strongly that it is merely a passing thing, yet others really push against it with no direction. Change will always bring reactions.

REACTION

I think we need to understand that if we choose not to respond to it either, it’s a still a reaction and it does not mean that the change isn’t manifesting.

At the core of my being, I believe we need to find balance with the creator first by understanding seasons, and aligning our vision and our lives with him. People who will be saved like in the days of Noah are those who realise they have no natural powers, or abilities to withstand this change. Unfortunately, change doesn’t give us an opportunity to chew slowly. It comes like a wave feeling pathetically out of my league at my first local pageant. I had the wrong shoes, I didn’t do my makeup correctly, and my hair looked half as awesome as it needed to look. I wasn’t any less capable than the other girls, but I wasn’t privy to the esoteric stockpile of beauty queen secrets. I was totally unaware of the financial commitment. Pageantry is expensive, especially when your parents aren’t funding your hobby. You’ll spend thousands on hair, make-up, clothing, entry fees– and the very long list of expenses goes on, but I will share some hacks that will help you save some cash. Reduce under eye puffiness with hemorrhoid cream. I put it under my eyes. If you’ve been crying, it will get rid of puffiness.

I would go to sleep around 1 or 2am, and be back up around 4:30 or 5am. You don’t want to look tired, especially for an interview for the biggest pageant of your life. However, it’s also worth noting that this should not be an everyday morning ritual. It can be risky to use.

INGREDIENTS

If you accidentally get some in your eye, the ingredients can cause serious damage, and then puffiness will be the least of your concerns. Avoid wardrobe malfunctions by literally glue your garments in place.

Literally, smile brighter by applying vaseline on your teeth. Whitening treatments can take weeks to work effectively. For a from the ocean, one minute you were dry and the next minute you are wet. By balance I mean at the back of our minds, we always know something will change.

We just never know how to prepare for it. This is why we act very surprised when it occurs. When it comes, we need to learn to choose what will work for us and what will not. Be very willing to drop some things. It is wisdom for us ride that wave of change than to pretend it’s not happening. Change moves forward; it does not go back, it is not a demon it; cannot be cast out. It is not witchcraft; its change manifesting. Sooner or later, it was going to happen to your generation because even the generation before yours had to undergo changes that were strange for them, changes that happened for them unexpectedly. It is foolishness then to think your generation is somewhat peculiar and immune to changes.

What kind of person lives in this world not expecting things to quick whitening boost, use vaseline. Vaseline is awesome for many reasons, three of which are: It reminds you to smile, it acts as a protective layer against staining, and it prevents lip products from transferring onto your teeth, thereby keeping your lipstick in place. Give yourself a visible glow with a temporary bronzing mist. No, the gorgeous golden glow of beauty queens isn’t real. Elongate your legs with a nude platform sandal. When purchased in nude, it gives the facade of a much longer leg without a conspicuous high heel. Bonus Tip: Use sandpaper to abrade the soles of brand new heels. Stage floors can get slippery, and it can be difficult, change? Growing up is a change. Cities change. There is even a process that is defined so explicit by sociologists. In theories of social change, they describe a process pillared by four stages. Social evolution is defined by four stages; survival, growth, development and then decay. Everything that we know goes through this change including human beings. 6.

CULTURAL

Change is like a wave, when it hits the shore it affects our ideational factors, cultural ideologies, economical factors and political atmospheres. It’s very easy and sometimes even comforting to point a finger of blame to others, even cause them harm yet nobody expects that kind of wave. When it comes, people are always going through their routines in life. That kind of wave is never something that people have seen before. Consequently, it arises all kinds of reactions from people’s lives. Change threatens the very existence of our livelihoods. Societies that are never

both physically and mentally, to gracefully recover from a fall. Rub the smoothest parts of the sole with sandpaper to avoid eating it on slippery surfaces. It works like a charm! Clean makeup stains with hand sanitiser. Pageant gowns clean? The genuine answer is that they keep them in garment bags until it’s absolutely necessary to expose them to potential human error. If, however, make-up gets on an article of clothing, beauty queens and backstage hands oftentimes use hand sanitiser to remove the stain.

SHARE

Just a few of my hacks and then I absolutely must share with you mistakes you should try to avoid;

1. Not memorising speeches ahead of time.

2. Not getting your evening gown tailored.

3. Swinging your arms

4. Doing turns when you know how.

5. Wearing heels you can’t walk in

Forgetting

7. Focusing too much on the competition.

8. Disorganised packing.

9. Recreating their prom look for evening gown.

10.Constantly touching

dress and hair.

Call me crazy, but I felt really intimidated by a lot of the gorgeous girls I met in pageantry. In my mind, the contestants with the most beautiful skin, flawless faces, and legs, for days were the most confident women in the world. Turns out I was very it’s

aunnaturally. beauty don’t pageant. your prepared for change are thrown in a state of disarray. Individuals that are never ready for change resist it to a point that it disturbs the core of their being. Life was never designed to cause the sort of turmoil that is brought by our not adapting to change.

Instead, we are meant to transition from one plethora to the next. We are meant to ride the waves not to be overwhelmed by them. When we ride the waves of change, we can avoid and lessen the impact it brings. Change always brings with it, very strong emotions of anxiety, because nobody really expects it, and knows what the future will bring. It brings forth an inability to see what can happen in the future because of it. Consequently, people’s reactions to it is mostly fear, suspicion, blame, anger, violence and mostly isolation.

People who were on the Titanic were told that it would never sink. In fact, few minutes before it departed, the captain had a conversation with some of the passenger’s declaring the strength of that ship.

That conversation must have brought exceeding calmness to the passengers. Not only were they free to enjoy themselves but they knew that based on his word, they would reach their destination. Nobody expected that somewhere along that journey there would be an iceberg, as steep and elongated as the titanic.

When they heard that it was sinking, people‘s reactions were predictable; panic, fear, anxiety and blame, others tried to survive by stepping on other people’s heads but ultimately they never made it.

There was also a scenario of people who went to a pastor for prayers, and yet the Titanic was still sinking. Pray for alignment with God’s direction this season, the ball is already rolling, ride the wave of change with him. Otherwise, the Titanic is sinking.

wrong. This only became crystal clear when I was at Miss World, surrounded by the most beautiful women in the country, when I saw everyone’s insecurities come out.

If only, I truly understood that even the most physically gorgeous people struggle with insecurities, I would have accepted my own a lot sooner. Understanding that, would also make sure I stayed in my own lane, focused on loving what I got, and open to self-growth. It seems so unlike me now, but when I started pageants, I did not invest time into self care.

I would wait until pageant week to take care of my hair, skin, and nails. If it weren’t for pageants, I would not make working out and eating healthy a priority today. Pageants taught me that beauty is about so much more than makeup, it means total health and wellness. Working with a personal trainer, learning how to dress for my body, and taking time to care for my overall wellness made a huge difference. I started to love my body more because I finally took time to care for it. Now, I place self care as a high priority. I do my best to workout daily, invest in skincare, eat well and maintain a regular sleep schedule. Since making these adjustments, I’ve seen big changes in my physical health, as well as a happier and more positive state of mind.” Thank you for the insight as chairperson of the Miss Cultural Heritage Eswatini Beauty Pageant, this was very insightful for me too. I will make sure the girls read it and hopefully your tips can lead them to victory.
