M– It is one unpredictable encounter between these two sides that have drawn twice in their previous meetings last season.

They both have played two matches so far in the league. They face off having won their previous matches last Saturday, Callies edging Manzini Wanderers 1-0 while Young Buffaloes netted three to one against Green Mamba.

Advantage

It may appear that the home side has a slight advantage, but Callies are only just home away from home as they are used to the environment as a team from the very hot Lubombo Region.

The coaches behind these two teams, Mandla ‘Stofu’ Dlamini for Buffaloes and Sifiso ‘Nuro’

THE TEAMS:

Ntibane at Callies, are all ambitious coaches, but it is the latter who is most decorated even with a quadruple while coaching Royal Leopard. Mnisi has the quality but will miss some of it due to the National Under-23s having an official game at Somhlolo National Stadium tomorrow.

One of those to miss the match is the workaholic and versatile Kwakhe Tfwala, who captains the Under-23 squad and also broke into the senior national team Sihlangu last season.

Buffaloes have also been tested by Mbabane Swallows in the opening match and had to come from behind, courtesy of last season’s record Top Goalscorer Award winner Sandile ‘Saviola’ Gamedze to earn them a point after a 1-all draw.

Bruising

After bruising a disappointing Green Mamba, given the latter’s marquee signings like Sihlangu marksman and former Mbabane Highlanders’ Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa and former Manzini Wanderers Captain Mthunzi ‘Chippa’ Motsa as well as ex-Mbabane Swallows industrious midfielder Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu, Buffaloes look favoured to win the match this time around. Callies were hammered 3-0 by Highlanders in their opening match.

As highlighted early on, Emathole Ezinyathi (Buffaloes) and BoBhejane (Callies) have shared the spoils last season in the first and second rounds.

The first round fixture ended goalless while the second round finished 2-all. While Buffaloes boast quality and experience, Callies have their own brave warriors with unsung talent in the likes of speedy winger Mazwi Sihlongonyane, former Swallows striker Simanga Shongwe and former Tambuti man, Neliso Myeni who can lead the battle against the army side.
