‘Bantfwabami’ rakes in numbers
MBABANE - Banger isn’t quite the word; anthem is more like it.
Not every song is necessarily an anthem, most, if not all are inspirational and Lyrikal Busta’s latest single ‘Bantfwabami’, is poised to become the go to song for every young man or wom- anfighting their way out of poverty by any means necessary.
The four-time Eswatini Musical Awards (SWAMA) award winning Hip Hop and Afrobeat artist, from the kingdom, has followed up the release of his latest single with a hot new video to complete the rags-to-riches themed body of work, from his upcoming project titled AFROBLISS.
It’s produced by another SWAMA award winner, Videographer Director Kwenu of Motion Skies Pictures.

The video premiered last week Friday to rave reviews garnering well over 3 500 views and over 250 comments in just under four days on YouTube alone.
Set in Malandela’s Swallow’s Nest House, the video sees the protagonist Lyrikal Busta, real name Thandolwethu Masuku, (spoiler alert) inside a stick and mud hut bidding farewell to the love of his life to fend for his family in the city of gold, as it were, with the promise to remit some money back home every month end for the family’s upkeep. As the video transitions, the lead character is seen rapping over a menacingly lazy trap beat with clever word play and a well thought out chorus, that captures his resolve to not sit by and watch his children die of hunger and the need to keep hustling as a man to escape the poverty of his upbringing.
