MBABANE - Buhleni folk will no longer lose their hard earned cash to thugs as they can easily deposit it any time at EswatiniBank.

The bank launched its first automated deposit teller (ADT) at Buhleni.

EswatiniBank now has a branch at Buhleni Plaza, which boasts the ADT as well as an internet booth.

This was said by EswatiniBank Managing Director (MD), Ndlunkulu Nozizwe Mulela, yesterday during the official opening of the new branch. Mulela said the ADT would help customers deposit their money at any time, even after working hours, rather than taking it home and thus exposing themselves to robberies.

She said the reason EswatiniBank opened a new branch in northern Hhohho was as a result of customers’ outcry of travelling long distances to Pigg’s Peak or as far as Mbabane to get banking services. She said the inconvenience was over as banking services were now at their disposal.

Services

“All the banking services we usually offer to people in other towns are now found at Buhleni. This means there is no need to travel long distances to get our services. We can assure our customers that the services they will get here are of high quality. In short, siletse yonkhe iservice

As a way forward, the internet booth will be installed in all the other branches,” said the MD. She said the bank was committed to giving the necessary banking services to all emaSwati, anytime they visited the new branch.

Mulela then encouraged customers to submit their queries anytime they visited the bank. She said that would help in identifying the areas that needed improvement.

She also indicated that suggestions were mostly welcome for the benefit of the bank and future plans.

She also pleaded with customers to forge a relationship with the bank staff by making enquires of all the available services and how they should go about accessing them.

Buhleni EswatiniBank branch Manager Musa Ngcamphalala said the branch was one of the best in terms of the available services as compared to all the other branches. He said customers appreciated the opening of the new branch, which was closer to them.

EswatiniBank Executive Manager Operations Enoch Mavimbela mentioned that the available services brought to Buhleni were of high quality. He said the installation of the ADT was a good move as customers could now deposit money after work. He also said the advantage was that people could now deposit their money on weekends and even on holidays.

He further said the issue of transactions which was a challenge to most of their customers had been resolved by bringing the bank closer to them. He also noted that since the bank started operating, over 20 customers had opened accounts while over 400 transactions had been conducted so far.

Mavimbela said EswatiniBank was renting an open place which they signed an agreement for with Tisuka Properties.
