M– Mbabane Swallows have filled the void left by Andreas Lukhele at the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Board of Governors (BoGs) structure.
Lukhele represented the red and white capital city giants in the BoGs after he was appointed by the club’s President Archbishop Bheki Lukhele. The Swallows administrator has since left his position at the PLE after he was appointed by His Majesty as the Industrial Court of Appeal judge. He was appointed alongside 11 other judges, of whom eight of them were appointed on permanent basis, while three on acting basis. Lukhele was among the eight.
Lukhele’s appointment and that of other judges was announced by the Chairman of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Chief Justice (CJ) Bheki Maphalala about two weeks back. As he departs, Sanele Nhlengetfwa takes over the position. Umkhonto KaShaka General Manager (GM) Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane confirmed the news that the president of the club has appointed Nhlengetfwa as their new PLE BoG representative with immediate effect.
“Yes, I can confirm that Sanele Nhlengetfwa is our new BoG rep with the PLE and he assumed his position on Thursday, but I can’t comment further about him lest I tell lies. What I can say though is that he is also a lawyer,” Zwane said. He referred this reporter to the former governor as he revealed that it was him who rec
