‘Manyovu’ finally cleared to ‘Bull’
MBABANE – It is now officially a done deal.
Royal Leopard have finally cleared speedy forward Bonginkosi ‘Manyovu’ Dlamini to Mbabane Highlanders. The clearance was confirmed by Highlanders Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mandla Madonsela yesterday afternoon. Highlanders have been longing to field ‘Manyovu’ after signing his contract early last month but could not utilise this ‘weapon’ pending Leopard’s clearance of the player upon his return from Angola side, Sagrada Esperanca.
Documents
Madonsela said the club authorities had to ensure that they secured the player’s clearance documents yesterday, which was the deadline of the registration period which closed at midnight. The player was anticipated to debut last weekend but Leopard prolonged the wait and had assured to clear him on
Monday (yesterday).
Madonsela also confirmed the signing of former Tinyosi (now Ezulwini FC) player Ndumiso ‘Skhokho’ Shongwe and Enzo Motsa who were their latest additions. Motsa has already had game time as he came in as a substitute for Philani Mkhonto on Sunday, where Highlanders settled for a goalless draw against Denver Sundowns.
Clearance
“Finally, we have acquired ‘Manyovu’s international clearance from Royal Leopard. Our administrators were at Sigwaca House this morning (yesterday) to finish his transfer. As for the other players’ contractual agreements, that is between the players and the employer,” Madonsela said.
Meanwhile, ‘Manyovu’ has already missed three games while awaiting his clearance. Highlanders fans can expect to see the player in action this weekend, as he may debut in the MoMo Cup semifinals.
