MBABANE – Zimbabwe-born South African (SA) film and television actor, Luthuli Dlamini has shared how he found the role of Eswatini’s very own DJ Wicked on the scene of the upcoming series Paladin.

The news of the local DJ sharing screen time with Dlamini first broke in July after Dlamini posted a couple of scenes featuring DJ Wicked.

‘Paladin’ is the title of the screen play, however, the producers of the show mentioned to this publicatio­n that all informatio­n will be released in due time and the snippets on Netflix and the ones posted by the stars was all that could be released for now.

The scenes with DJ Wicked showcase the local DJ handling a gun in one clip. Judging by some of the clips, there’s whole lot of drama to look forward to. This was a proud moment for Wicked and his family, the great news continues as Dlamini mentioned the experience of the local DJ on set.

Amazing

“The actor, Wicked as you have been referring to him, is nothing short of amazing. He is an amazing actor and the way he gets into character and becomes one with his role is something that most creatives struggle with but he was amazing,” said Dlamini.

The renowned actor further shared that he was keen on seeing more actors and actresses from Eswatini venture in SA TV space as the market was quite open.

Dlamini further congratula­ted the local on taking up his role with such grace and giving it his all.

DJ Wicked is known for his exceptiona­l skills on the DJ booth and sensationa­l mixes, the upcoming project will see him in a different light. He couldn’t say much about his role as the production team insisted that they will give all the details in due course. He did share however, his excitement of the upcoming project and mentioned that he couldn’t really reveal much on his role before getting the green light from the executive producers of the show.
