Mforce. BABANE- Mbabane Highlander­s finally added more fire power in their striking

This happened during the last minutes of the extended window period on Monday. Highlander­s were able to register their former star Mfanufikil­e ‘Fash’ Ndzimandze, who has played for a number of teams in the country, such as Mbabane Swallows, Manzini Wanderers, Moneni Pirates and Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows. Although informatio­n on his deal with the Bull was scanty at the time of compiling this report, Highlander­s confirmed that he was now officially in the Bull’s kraal. This was confirmed by their Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mandla Madonsela.

“With his experience, we wanted to add depth in our striking force. We are hoping that he will adjust very soon and assist the team achieve its set goals. We will be playing in the CAF Champions League next year,” Mandonsela said.

The black and white ensemble’s striking force now boasts former Eswatini internatio­nal Bongikhosi ‘Manyovu’ Dlamini, who has played for Angola’s Segrada Esperence and Royal Leapard. It also has former Green Mamba and Mbabane Swallows forward Musa Dlamini and South Africa-born Josef Lekata.

“We will make use of whosoever will be available. We’re going for a championsh­ip on Sunday in the MoMo Cup. Preparatio­ns are at an advanced stage. The semifinals look pretty easy but practicall­y they’re not. We will ensure we prepare adequately,” the PRO said. Madonsela also thanked Highlander­s Managing Director (MD) Chief Ally Kgomongwe for the signings and assembling a formidable team ahead of the new campaign.
