M– Eswatini CAF convoys Royal Leopard have opted to use a Mozambican stadium if they qualify to the group stages.
CAF denotes Confederation of African Football. The police ensemble is 90 minutes away from qualifying to the group stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup 2022/23.
This is after they played to a 1-all draw to Mali’s AS Real Bamako at Somhlolo National Stadium this past Wednesday. This was during the play-off stage of the first leg. The second leg will be in Mali next Wednesday and kick-off time is 6pm.
The home side needs to at least draw 2-2 or win the match to advance to the group stages. It is then that they will be required to use a CAF A type venue.

“It is not an easy game but we know what we have to do to qualify to the next stage. This is going to be a do-or-die match. We have won games away from home so this one is not special,” he said.

Leopard had to be relegated to the CAF second tier tournament after they were beaten 3-2 by Coton Sport of Cameroon in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
