M– Eswatini CAF convoys Royal Leopard have opted to use a Mozambican stadium if they qualify to the group stages.

CAF denotes Confederation of African Football. The police ensemble is 90 minutes away from qualifying to the group stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup 2022/23.

This is after they played to a 1-all draw to Mali’s AS Real Bamako at Somhlolo National Stadium this past Wednesday. This was during the play-off stage of the first leg. The second leg will be in Mali next Wednesday and kick-off time is 6pm.

Banned

This is after Mavuso Sports Centre and Somhlolo National Stadium were among the 24 stadiums across the continent banned for not meeting the required standards to host CAF A type competitions.

Leopard had to be relegated to the CAF second tier tournament after they were beaten 3-2 by Coton Sport of Cameroon in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.
