Eswatini Mobile pulls out

MBABANE – After Eswatini’s second mobile network and service provider, Eswatini Mobile announced its hefty sponsorship towards The Rebirth of Music Carnival, they have withdrawn.
In a statement released on 0onday by the telecommunication company, a termination of their partnership was announced. The statement reads, ³:e regret to announce the withdrawal of Eswatini 0obile as the title sponsor of The 5ebirth of 0usic Carnival.” It was further shared that members of the public who purchased tickets prior to this announcement, should not worry as their tickets were still valid but going forward, tickets were to be sold at )uti¶s chicken outlet.
In light with the statement released by Eswatini 0obile, one was released by The 5ebirth of 0usic Carnival. It read; ³This statement serves to confirm that AIV Investment has amicably parted ways with Eswatini 0obile who was our headline sponsor. This, therefore, means that Eswatini 0obile experience centres will no-longer be selling the Carnival tickets as before.”
Proceedings
The event organisers and promoter both mentioned to this publication that this did not alter the proceedings of the event and that the show was still going to take place on Saturday at 0alkerns Country Club.

The 5ebirth of 0usic, )ood and )ashion Carnival was launched on September 10 this year, over 40 artists both local and international were announced in the presence of Eswatini 1ational Council
of Arts and Culture E1CAC) Chief Executive Officer CEO) Stanley Dlamini. During the launch, the event¶s organisers, mentioned that the event was a first-of-its-kind, and that would help showcase the country¶s music talent also announcing some Eswatini artists to perform namely; 1omalungelo, Illa 3en%oy, Sarnilo, 0 1ation, .% Da D-, D- =ulu D, Sooks, 0ix 0ash,
Supa CD4, The Scientists, D0%O, The %ishops, AyaCity and %ofecela. The local acts will be supported by South African SA) artists; The obMective according to the event organiser, is to bring members of the public together for some clean fun and unite them while admiring the country¶s talent.
