MBABANE – Manzini Super League is without a sponsor.
Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA) is set to kick off the 2022/2023 season on Saturday without any sponsorship. The region’s flagship league has been in the past years been sponsored by Dabulamanzi.
The Manzini executive confirmed the hurdle and said they were already hitting the ground running despite the challenges.
“We have set up a five-member marketing team charged with finding sponsors for even the other leagues who are without sponsorship as it is not only the Super League. It’s our first term in office but we’re hopeful, that it won’t take us so long to get companies to sponsor the leagues,” MRFA Chairman Vusi Hall said.
Some of the other leagues that have no form of sponsorship are Malkerns and Kwaluseni Promotion Leagues. Stefanutti Stocks had its marriage expiring last season. There are ongoing talks between MRFA with OK Foods Stores for another sponsorship for Kwaluseni Promotion League.
