W I THeverything going on in the world recently, I must say I caught the joke about the cheesecake very late. First people were posting a picture of Tupperware in the middle of a garage; some were asking questions about baking a cheesecake without being caught.

I only got the chance late at home after going over social media, that I learnt of another cheating scandal of a famous celebrity couple.

Only this time the wife Sonia, of the legendary soccer player Matthew Booth decided to post her investigation findings online, of how her hubby was baking cakes for other women, literally. She detailed how her husband and the married mistress had been having an affair since Valentine’s Day.

She decided upon her suspicions to hire a private investigator to be certain about her hunch, and she was right, unfortunately.

Here’s a free tip, we always know when they are cheating, at least most of the time, something in our gut tells us no need to hire a private investigator, but hey I guess if the resources are there, why not? Let’s move on

She detailed how her husband came back with a gift from the mistress, who happen to be a sports fanatic, which makes a whole lot of sense, since he’s also into soccer or was, because the picture that was circulating was not impressive, but let’s move on, I just work here.

Fast forward to former Miss South Africa Second Princess confirming her suspicions, she arranged a meeting with the poor husband of the mistress, who confirmed what she knew, poor man. They even took a picture at the coffee shop which she posted online.

Few days later we learnt that the mistress responded to the allegations, even though I didn’t understand what she was saying, honestly, if I were her, I would have kept quite, knowing that I was sleeping with someone else’s husband and have been caught.

Here’s my two cents worth over the latest scandal, first of all I don’t think it was wise to broadcast it to the world, how your husband cheated and giving us gory details, its entertaining for tabloid news definitely, but did she think about the longterm effects after the fact?

Did she consider the children involved on how their friends would mock them at school about their dad baking cheesecake for another woman in their mum’s kitchen? But naye soccer legend usekugcineni. Why would you be that careless? Fear men I tell you!

Besides making Sonia the topic of discussions over tea and coffee if her move was a mature one, the real question is, was it worth the whole world knowing that her hubby was making eyes at another married woman?

How many women can safely say they never had to deal with the other women, but you don’t see us posting it online, angati noma its because we are not married to soccer legends but it’s the principle for me, was it necessary for us to know what happens in their marriage, good or bad?

When she contemplated contacting the mistress’s hubby and having coffee with him, it still didn’t register that it should stop there, and they both deal with their cheating spouses individually.

Or better yet, they should have tricked them into the coffee date so they could all introduce each other if bangakhuteki lapho, well then, they have bigger problems.

But here’s my question, does she intend to stay in the marriage after this big reveal? How after dear hubby went extra naye and dipped in their son’s school funds to spoil madam, over their children’s future?

Will the mistress help pay back the money or what? Kutobukwana njani in that household now that the whole world knows?

I still wonder what was the whole purpose of exposing her hubby really, as old people would say there are many ways of skinning the cat, but in my books this was definitely not one of them.

Yes I know it’s painful to be cheated on, been there got the T-shirt and yes you lose your sanity a bit, but I guess she figured this would be her therapy, I hope she heals!
