MBABANE - Amateur golfer Jetro Masuku just cannot stop winning titles. Fresh from lifting the Mashayinkonjane Golf Monthly Mug last Saturday, Masuku returned to clinch the weekly Dups Herbal sponsored Leg of Lamb Golf Tournament on Friday in Manzini. The Manzini Golf Club member was among 15 golfers who took to the greens of the Manzini Golf Course for yet another refreshing weekend of golf experience. He carded a unique 19 points from a stable ford nine-hole golf format.

Dumisani Hlathwayo was the second best golfer on the day, accumulating 18 points for the runner-up spot and Lwati Dube came in third with an impressive 17 points on countback. Veteran golfers James Nhlengetfwa and Richard Dlamini are regulars on the top scorer’s’ chart through their consistent participation in the weekly golf competition. They finished fourth and fifth respectively, while last week’s champion Moses Dlamini secured the sixth and last spot on the score chart.

Captain Wakie Lawrence congratulated the champion for setting the bar for other golfers, also attributing his victory to regular practice. “The DUPS Leg of Lamb was played on Friday with 15 golfers and Jetro was the champion again after celebrating Mashayinkonjane championship last week. Thank you to all the golfers who always join the competition and more so, to our sponsor Dups, for partnering with us for over five years now,” Lawrence said.

Dups sponsored the weekly golf tournament with an annual sponsorship of E72 000 in January.
