MBABANE – ORGXPERT (Pty) Ltd has been enlisted as the best evaluated tenderer to provide consultancy services for Eswatini Higher Education Council (ESHEC).

This was revealed by the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA) on their website.

The tender was awarded to the company this past Friday and they are expected to begin executing it after a period of 10 working days, should they not be contested.

According to the regulatory agency, ESHEC was looking for a consultancy firm for the development of their five-year strategic plan.

ORGXPERT (Pty) Ltd is expected to provide many assurances and non-assurance services for ESHEC.

Information

They are also expected to provide ESHEC Board of Directors with valuable information in regard to the company’s financial condition.

ORGXPERT (Pty) Ltd will also help ESHEC Board members spot potential internal oversight or unethical behaviour.

The initial proposed contract price of the tender was E292 500.

Worth noting is that consulting companies in Eswatini are less than 10 and all have been awarded contracts, small constructions companies which are based in the country have acquired over 10 tenders, which were afore granted to big companies.

This is in line with the provision and procurement of tenders in the Public Procurement Regulations, which states that local companies will be granted first preference in the evaluation of tenders in public procurement.

ORGXPERT (Pty) Ltd was competing with 360 Business Solution for the tender. ESHEC was the procuring entity for the tender which was approved by the authority of the Board.
