MHLUME – The RES Siyakha Under-15 League continued iover the weekend with Professionals claiming the top spot.
Mhlume Professionals beat Mhlume Community 3-0 in a derby encounter to claim the top spot in RES Siyakha 1 800 Under-15 League.
This was during one of the many games that were played at Simunye Open Ground on Saturday.
It was indeed derby delight for the football passionate spectators in attendance as they were also treated to yet another derby pitting Vuvulane rivals, Lomkhehle and Brave Lions, whereby the latter emerged the winner by 2-1.
Leapfrogged
For their win, Mhlume Professionals who are now at 13 points in five games, have since leapfrogged Lusoti Academy who are now pushed to third.
The latter was not in action over the weekend.
Occupying the second spot is Citizens FC who are at 11 points after beating Tshaneni FC 3-0.
Completing the top four is Brave Lions who are now at 10 points after their derby win.
In the opposite side of the table, Winchester Soccer Club are rooted at the base
