SIKHUPHE - Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini has urged the nation to only consider holidays which have been announced by government.

He said the nation knew how government announced holidays - through the media (mainstream). He said they should not be misled by anyone.

Therefore, he said those who would decide not to go to work because of a statement that was made by someone else, besides government, they would be in trouble with their employers.

It is worth noting that on Saturday, two suspects; Ncamiso Mabuyekhulu, who is affiliated to the Swaziland Youth Congress (SWAYOCO) and a member of the Swaziland Liberation Movement (SWALIMO), Philani Sihlongonyane, were arrested at a roadblock which was manned at Mkhondvo

River Bridge, along the Mhlaleni/ Nhlangano Public Road. After their arrest, the police also arrested one German Robert Dlamini, whom they allegedly found in possession of a firearm and live rounds of ammunition.

Appearance

The trio has already made their first remand hearing at the High Court of Eswatini. The SWAYOCO and SWALIMO members were slapped with 29 counts, which include terrorism, murder, arson attack and armed robbery, among others. Prior to that, the police also arrested two men after they were reportedly found with two explosives, live bullets and an army uniform.

The duo is Musa Clement Kunene and Msindiso Ntshalintshali. They were arrested on November 8, 2022 at Mbhuleni, Matsapha. They stand accused of having contravened the Suppression of Terrorism Act of 2018.
