National Motor Spares’ E30 000 for Mkhiweni League
MANZINI - The Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA) chaired by Vusi Hall yesterday received E30 000 worth of sponsorship for the Mkhiweni Regional League.
The sponsorship presentation was done at the company’s premises where the E30 000 replica cheque was presented to MRFA chairman. This is the second sponsorship as the company recently sponsored the Manzini Regional League with a similar amount.
National Motor Spares’ Sales and Marketing Manager Nkosinathi Dlamini said their drive to invest in football was mainly to contribute towards crime prevention, help yield a healthy active nation through sports participation and ensuring sports development and excellence, especially through grassroots development.
Dlamini said the continuity of their partnership solely depended on the teams who were tasked to uphold fair sport and be ambassadors of the company. “This sponsorship is a response to the teams’ proposal for a sponsorship. We are giving back to the community that helped through their support for us to become who we are today.
“We are highly reliable in selling durable car parts and other auto mobile spares. At the end of the season, the sponsor will open doors for negotiations to continue our partnership and hopefully improve the value of the sponsorship. All will be determined by the conduct of the teams who are now ambassadors of National Motor Spares,” Dlamini said.
Grateful for the support, on behalf of the Mkhiweni-based teams, Bheki Dlamini assured the sponsor of promoting their products in their various communities. He also implored the teams to practice fair sport and avoid any form of violence as this scared off potential sponsors.
“As a promotion league, we are proud that we continue to produce top level league football players and through this partnership with National Motor Spares, we are guaranteed to continue producing professional football players. We also assume social responsibility and we hope to also rope in our sponsor while executing those responsibilities,” he said.
The MRFA chairman assured to give the sponsor due mileage and protect the company from bad publicity through upholding good morals and fair play. The Mkhiweni National Motor Spares League will kick-off next weekend and features 18 teams.
